I legit forgot Manager-kun's ability before they mentioned it XD
I thought something bad will happen and they will leave it as bad ending .lol
Omg it's here the last episode, I'm not ready.
Kyouka: "Dee deedle-dee!"
Wow it's so clear now.
Between Manager-kun, Haru , and Hotaru.
The girl who always call with manager-kun is Hotaru.
Give us TINGS vs HY:RAIN
Absolutely loved it. Checked off everything in my criteria.
-Great characters
-Great OST
-Memorable moments
-Good plot
-Left a lasting impression
-Rewatchable
And now comes the "I'm gonna miss this anime" curse.
Though It's unlikely, I'd give anything for a season 2 or a movie.
Got to see an amazing performance, and Hotaru saying “seppuku” in person. My day is complete.
Gonna miss these girls.
It was a great anime to say the least. Hope it comes back with another season.
A very very very satisfying end indeed! My day is also complete! And definitely needs season 2 for sure! Go TINGs!
Same here T_T
It's sad that totally missed out on this show since it came out on a very inconvenient time for me.
Time to start binge watching, then.
Nice. Feel free to leave some comments along the way. Even if no one else sees your comments, I’ll read them. xD
Here we go!
Sing your hearts out, girls!
Shine Post was brought to you by Studio Kai, the studio behind Super Cub, the 2nd season of 7 Seeds, collabed with HORNETS to release the skeleton isekai back in April, Uma Musume S2, and the recently ended Fuuto Tantei.
Idol anime was something that grew on me, mainly because it got me into anime, and we've seen quite a bit of idol anime in the last few years, be it Love Live, Zombieland Saga, Uma Musume, or even Dropout Idol Fruit Tart. Of course there's some duds like Extreme Hearts from the summer season and the disappointing S2 of Love Live Superstar. Of all the idol anime last summer, this is honestly my favorite.
I honestly appreciate the realism on the harsh reality that the idol industry is brutal, and I LOVED the drama among the cast, and also the performances are quite solid. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the girls, as they're all bland and defined by one personality, but their chemistry makes up for it. And MAYBE it's just me, but I prefer Daiki Yamashita voicing someone like Midoriya or Junpei from Dance Dance Danseur than I do someone like Manager-kun.
At the end of the day, you're definitely getting your money's worth with this. While it's not gonna be the best anime of the year let alone Summer 2022, it set out to do EXACTLY as it planned. If you enjoy drama and/or realism in the idol industry I recommend Idolmaster!
Final Verdict: 8/10
Now all you gotta to do is try Luminous Witches of pop idol anime and your good from this last summer, At some point you will probably will watch.
And I will.
And now this makes one of the last of the summer anime line up has come to a end, which I'm excluding "Hoshi no Samidare (Lucifer the Biscuit Hammer)" since that's a 2 cour anime making it a leftover through fall. Shinepost itself is combination of drama, comedy, sol, with realism in a pop idol anime with story, animation, and such that was done very well. But like certain individuals whom have pointed out, this has some clichés with characters to story plot that makes some of this lackluster but it's upsides is the mix of all the characters and chemistry of everything makes this so good.
8.2/10 rating from me.
Finally We See Hotaru Herself Saying Seppuku
I want To See That Battle And I wanted To The Girls To Meet Seppuku Girl
I'm Gonna miss This Very Rewatchable So It's deserve 2nd Season
This was a nice anime
Now all we're left with is the question: will we ever get to see that battle on stage of HyRain vs TINGS
Beautiful episode, excellent episode ❤️😍❤️😍
A great and perfect anime!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I really enjoyed watching this anime. It's disappointing that it's over 😕, and it's a real shame that not many watched it! 😔
Really good and excellent anime and also very interesting, and enjoyable ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I wish, I really wish there would be another season!!
I will miss it for sure!
What a great journey hope that there'll be the next season just like thebother idol anime!
They came, they saw, they shined.
They want to show that people from all walks of life are lining up to watch. I spotted a chef, and an old guy who looks like a farmer... XD
I haven't gone back to check, but I think that farmer was from when Rio-sama went and picked vegetables (and failed at eating green peppers).
i enjoyed this series, haru is a god ty for the watch!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa its ended... I love this show. I love haru, Rio-tan o-kyon, momiji, yuki-nee.. TINGS ❤️❤️❤️
😭😭😭 wish for a bit longer performance but oh well. Still amazing hand drawn performance! Totally predicted the disband joke lol 😂
I lowkey expected a warm talk between Haru and Ren this episode and that last performance didn't really get me like the previous ones when they were focused on each girl. It seemed generic (?) idk but I still find HY:RAIN is better as a group lol... Also Idk I did lost interest in the characters of TINGS a bit once their individual arc ended. However I can't forget how sweet the show was, I loved the drama and the pacing in this one and wanted to cry at each resolution (except for Ren's). I think it's my first idol show and I glad I watched it... It was a great one...
Ayo, this was good. Crazy delays bruh, but all worth. Uhh, Keep shining! Really enjoyed this animation.
This anime was surely a suprise from last season and i enjoyed it. it was a great idol anime of course not much different from other idol animes but Shine Post surely has its own charm. Enjoyable from beginning to end for me although i wish we could have seen more from Hotaru as well^^
It was way too obvious from episode 1 that Kei (seppuku girl) was actually Hotaru. Bu what I did not expect was that she was the one that created the term ShinePost
Chainsaw man this morning with the master, dog relationship making me look at Rio Sama a little different this week. Rio sama saying, "da ka da" is so cute. Woof.
Oh. It was hotaru and not homare.
Time for one final dosage of idols and drama!
I need season 2 for HY:RAIN v.s. TINGS
So basically... Kyoka achieve Zone+Perfect Copy to be able to dance together with Haru at the center hahaha
I somehow laughed from de ja vu at the ending LOL
I gotta gotta know... if we will get a season 2!
10/10!!!! Ok but like.. we're getting a season 2 right???
And the last show of the summer is over. A nice ending. I want season 2 but it's not gonna come
Need S2!!!
Definitely going to miss this series with its likeable characters, well balanced drama/comedy and more realistic portrayal of how cutthroat the idol industry can be.
While it did hit many of the clichés of idol anime tropes it did so with a wonderful cast, great sound track and a polish which even some of the larger franchises occasionally fail to achieve (looking at you LL SS 2). This series has earned its place as one of my favourite idol series of all time and I hope the animators, cast and we as viewers are blessed with a season 2.
If you enjoyed this more realistic take on small idol group struggles I recommend
Wake Up, Girls! Shichinin no Idol (winter 2014 prequel movie)
Wake Up, Girls! (winter 2014 anime)
and finally, Wake Up, Girls! Seishun no Kage (sequel movie summer 2015)
Sadly the Seiyuu group Wake Up, Girls! disbanded on March 8 2019 but their legacy lives on via youtube and the anime.
WUG will always live on in my heart.
Glad to see Kyouka finally gain the confidence she needs, and Rio's voice is still my favorite! Kyouka's fangirl fainting again but still smiling during Kyouka's ment lmfao, I guess her body instinctively reacts to Kyouka's voice 😂 Also finally get to see Kei in the flesh! If not... seppuku
Another gorgeous performance to round off the series, thank you animation team! Really happy I picked this up on a whim, it's been a fun ride and you can see the labor of love that went in to all the performances. Would love to see that HY:RAIN and TINGS battle though and also Hotaru's new single, so I hope an S2 or an OVA or a movie come somewhere down the line.
aw man it's always the feeling of loss whenever an anime you enjoy ends
Amazing anime👏 Literally one the best Idol anime I've watched.. Lol I only 3 Idol animes 😂 but this one's on the top
I'm gonna miss them
Rio-sama especially
Ahh yes this anime was perfect i loved everything about it absolutely perfect it was excellent glad i found this gem of an anime
HY:RAIN song was better, animation was better, dance was better.
Also they look better (sorry)
I'd like to see season 2 where they do both sides justice
This's is a original anime you stupid MOFU bot.
Get da fvk out of here and take what ever sus link you will spam with you as report your self.
Is Hotaru/Kei was still currently active idol or retired idol and just writing song for others now...?
Homare never been Idol. She just support them.
That's a good anime, the drama and comedy has perfect pacing.
I got nervous to the title of this episode "TINGS does not Shine" then I remember Manager-kun ability lol.
I Love the Good Character Design, Awesome and catchy songs, The Plot twists are also actually good.
Tho It hurts me to see that this anime didn't get much attention this season. It got bad timing for airing summer season and also the delayed episodes that's why it's october already when it finished. Nonetheless I want to see more.
